What is fibre broadband?
Delivering faster speeds than traditional ADSL broadband, fibre broadband provides connectivity of up to 76 Mbps download and up to 19 Mbps upload speed. Sometimes known as FTTC, or “fibre to the cabinet”, this is achieved by running a fibre cable from an exchange to a street cabinet that contains the broadband equipment.
From here, it is linked to buildings and homes via an existing copper network. This results in fast download speeds with more resilience and stability than traditional ADSL broadband. Our fibre broadband packages provide a FTTC connection from the telephone exchange to your premises providing better quality and performance than standard internet connections.
